Digital footprints v. digital exhaust. This presentation will explain both concepts and demonstrate how various aspects of both provide critical corroborative evidence in child exploitation cases. In addition, this session will focus on the types of confirmatory information stored in cyberspace that victims, suspects, and witnesses create through the daily use of common types of technology. Participants will learn where and how to look for such kinds of data, including common questions to include during prospective interviews.
