Through a review of Texas’ efforts to establish Care Coordination Teams who serve commercially sexually exploited children and youth, this session delves into the successes, challenges, and lessons learned from inception in 2017 to date. This session also explores how Texas’ lessoned learned yielded an intentional reboot to further harness the power of collaboration at the state and local level. As a result, the Texas Logic Model for Care Coordination was born. This session will share this next generation model and its essential elements to promote sustainable autonomy, healing, justice, and stability for children and youth who experienced commercial sexual exploitation.
