Law enforcement officers are more likely to die by suicide than working in the line of duty. Agencies across the nation have an opportunity to empower their department with the tools necessary to recognize the early warning signs of someone having thoughts of suicide and tools necessary to intervene. This presentation will provide insight on how stressors of the job can influence suicidal behaviors and opportunities for intervention.
