This workshop will start by explaining what the dark web is, provide an overview of Tor while covering how to access and download the browser. The presentation will focus on how to conduct child exploitation investigations on Tor. It will show how to integrate open source information in order to identify high value targets. The session will also focus on how to assist, strengthen and parallel reconstruct information in order to build a strong case. Various case examples will be shown which will provide real world examples showing how to work a CSAM dark web lead start to finish. This presentation is restricted to law enforcement and prosecution attendees only.
