Whether we are the prosecutor or the interviewer, we extensively review the video-recorded interviews to prepare for court. During our review, we see errors. Some errors are small while others may be quite concerning. There will always be errors because there is no such thing as a perfect interview. In our preparation for court, it is important to identify the errors and assess the weight of those errors on the interview/investigation as a whole. This presentation will identify various potential errors and how to address those challenges with our teams and on the witness stand.

Evaluate the overall impact of the errors on the forensic interview/investigation
