When a victim cannot speak for themselves, it is up to the investigative team to build a case that speaks for them. Building a timeline of events is a vital piece of any child maltreatment investigation. Attend this workshop and learn how to work with the MDT to determine relevant collateral interviews to build corroboration and effective use of legal process to support witness statements. The presentation will discuss best practices when interviewing “at-risk” children and how to incorporate poly-victimization screening with all children.
