Online child exploitation and sextortion cases have exploded throughout the U.S. Around the globe, these numbers have dramatically increased from year to year, and the effect of Internet safety presentations has a limited impact. This presentation will focus on the science and art of grooming and manipulation through technology, along with darknet chat forums' strategies to lure children. Predators can mimic children's language and style through their advanced grooming techniques. Lastly, the presenter will discuss cases and these darknet members' methods. We will discuss these cases from a sextortion view as well.
