This workshop will discuss how to create an internet safety program from the ground up. The presenter will provide tools and resources to help facilitate ongoing digital lessons for parents, students, educators and law enforcement agencies. This will cover basics such as creating a personal bio and obtaining business cards, getting your contact info into the right hands, and learning how to make the right contacts. Next, the presenter will discuss creating educational programs. This includes keeping current on the latest trends, utilizing video download programs, using available online resources (such as NetSmartz), and then providing templates to get started. Also discussed will be where/how to present, professionalism, do/don'ts, etc. The presentation will conclude with the opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
