This workshop will feature a panel of survivors of child sexual abuse imagery/videos and child sexual exploitation who experienced online enticement or sextortion. Survivors will share the ways perpetrators utilized coercion and manipulation to elicit submission and shed light on the psychological impacts left behind. They will also cover the practical and tangible techniques used by law enforcement that helped them feel supported and led to positive outcomes. The panel will be moderated by NCMEC and highlight the concepts of Choice, Consent, and Control – three themes central to the healing process for sexual abuse and exploitation survivors.
