This presentation will describe two of the more dangerous motivational pathways that lead to sexual offending; sexual sadism and psychopathy. The dynamics underlying these diagnostic categories will be discussed, as well as the behavioral manifestations specific to each type. Pragmatic implications are offered for investigating, supervising, or otherwise interacting with these offenders.
