Blurred lines references the question of interpretation when examining ethical dilemmas. At times ethical issues can be full of uncertainty and ambiguity while other times may provide a semblance of certainty and predictability. Preparing for the evidentiality that no matter the place in your career (early, young, or seasoned) an ethical dilemma will arise is a necessity. This workshop will help attendees understand what constitutes an ethical dilemma, gain knowledge about the code of ethics and unravel the complexities inherent in resolving ethical dilemmas as they arise.
Learning Objectives:
Identify common ethical dilemmas that arise in social work practice
Apply an ethical decision making process to an ethical dilemma
Develop possible options for resolving a complex ethical dilemma
