Barry Walker was a doctor in Arkansas until 1999 when he was charged with his first sex crime. He served a minimum prison sentence and did not waste any time when he got out. He continued raping juveniles for the next twenty-one years until arrested in 2022. Investigators and prosecutors had to identify and notify victims, now adults, that they were raped when minors. The case had many lessons learned blocks such as how to identify and how to tell the girls what had happened. Most victims were not aware they were victims. Prosecutors and investigators also had to deal with working in multiple jurisdictions. This case relied heavily on digital evidence.
