This presentation will discuss how medical exams for sexual abuse are done, when they should be done, when evidence can be collected, and why exams are so important. It will also examine the specific needs of high-risk victims and sexually exploited children. Participants should be aware that some imagery might be graphic in nature but necessary to understand the concepts.
