Illegal and harmful content are known threats to children's safety, but what about legal content that’s deliberately “curated for consumption?” This seemingly benign content doesn’t violate any online platform policies or guidelines, but upon closer investigation reveals dangerous online harms hidden in plain sight. For example, innocent images of kids doing everyday activities, which are signposted with unique hashtags, or short video formats that slowly become more provocative.
