Following the loss of their son Charlie to fentanyl, Ed and Mary Ternan founded Song for Charlie, a national family run non-profit dedicated to bringing awareness to counterfeit prescription pills being sold online targeting young people. In this presentation Ed Ternan, in conversation with Rachel Hochhauser (Snap Inc.), will discuss the national crisis of fentanyl and the risk to young people online. Ed will provide insight into the shift in methods of manufacturing and distribution, the need for new investigative approaches and most of all, collaborative solutions.
