Amy Allen is a Forensic Interview Specialist with Department of Homeland Security (DHS). For twenty-eight years she has been an expert in forensic interviewing and its national and international protocols She has conducted over eight-thousand forensic interviews and she is qualified as an expert witness. Amy was the director and lead forensic interviewer in Oakland County, MI during the years of 1993-2008. In 2008, Amy took a position with DHS as a Forensic Interview Specialist. Here she works cases involving child exploitation, human trafficking and human rights violations. Amy has been to twenty-three countries working investigations with DHS. In 2019, Amy was invited to brief the President of the United States on human trafficking. Amy has degrees in Behavioral Science and a Master’s in Criminal Justice.
