Ward Weber is an Assistant District Attorney currently assigned to the Crimes Against Children Division. He began his legal career as a criminal defense attorney before starting with the Dallas County District Attorney's Office in 2019. Ward began in the Misdemeanor Division and was quickly promoted to Chief of one of the misdemeanor family violence courts, and received the office-wide “Rookie of the Year Award.” In 2020, Ward was promoted to prosecuting general felonies ranging from drug cases to capital murders. He has been assigned to the Crimes Against Children Division since 2021. In his time in the CAC Division Ward has successfully worked up, pleaded, and tried a wide variety of child sexual abuse cases.
