Cheryl's Voice
LaTasha Jackson-McDougle is currently a Case Manager in Tarrant County over the Domestic Violence Diversion Program, an Adjunct Professor at UT Arlington, and the Founder of Cheryl's Voice. She was abandoned at the age of eighteen months. In 1984 her father killed her mother and then took his own life. Thirty-seven years later LaTasha has become an advocate for victims. She has dedicated her life and formal education to learning more about domestic violence. She is motivated to share her tragic personal story and play an active role in domestic violence awareness. LaTasha has numerous awards for her service: 2022 Living Legend, 2019 International Alliance World of Difference Award; 2019 Best of Fort Worth, Texas Philanthropist; 2019 Women’s Center Community Recognition, to name a few.
