Jim Tanner, Ph.D. has been a community corrections professional since 1970. He has his doctorate in Cognitive Social Psychology (Phenomenology) . He is sworn staff in Colorado, serving the 20th Judicial District Probation Department as their Cyber Crime Analyst. He has been working with sex offenders his entire career and presents regularly on sex offender grooming, computer forensics, deception detection, trauma and memory. He is qualified as an expert witness in sex offender cognitive sets and grooming strategies, trauma and memory, digital forensics, and corrections.
