Leigh Brooks

Leigh Brooks began her law enforcement career in 1995 as a Patrol Officer with the Columbus, GA Police Department and is now a Special Agent and twenty-two year-veteran of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. Her experience includes investigating homicides and major felonies, while specializing in crimes against children investigations. Leigh is a graduate of Columbus State University receiving a master’s degree in Public Administration. She has attended nationally recognized trainings in the field of homicides, child death investigations, and crimes against children investigations. Leigh has testified in court on numerous occasions, provides instruction to local and state law enforcement at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center and throughout the country, and teaches child death investigations for the GBI Basic Agent Academy.
