Kim D'Avignon is an Assistant Criminal District Attorney for Tarrant County, Texas, where she has served since 2001. She is currently assigned as the Chief of the Adult Sexual Assault Team and was previously assigned to general Felony courts as well as the special units of Narcotics, Family Violence and Crimes against Children. She has been a Felony Chief since 2015. In 2019, Kim was charged with the creation of the first prosecution unit in Tarrant County history to focus on the crime of Adult Sexual Assault. Kim attended Texas Tech for both undergrad and law school. She is board certified in criminal law.
