Christopher Reid graduated with his Juris Doctor with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2011. He was hired on as Deputy County Attorney in 2014 in the Juvenile division, handling cases involving child abuse, neglect and juvenile offenders. In 2017, Christopher transferred to the criminal division, where he prosecuted adult criminals for child abuse and domestic violence. In 2019 he transitioned to the Sexual Assault docket where he prosecuted child sexual assault, child sex trafficking and exploitation cases. Now, Christopher is the Chief Deputy of the Juvenile Division where he manages attorneys responsible for prosecuting adults and juveniles in the Juvenile System. He also manages several pre-trial diversion programs aimed to reduce the percentage of youths in the court system.
