Dedra Hardaway is the Director of MDT Coordination Services at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center. She and her team are responsible for reviewing all DFPS reports of alleged abuse/neglect for Dallas county. They are responsible for connecting Law Enforcement and Child Protective Investigations to encourage their collaborative response to said reports. She leads her team in supporting both investigative parties and partners in the pursuit of services. They assist LE, CPI and partners in their response to alleged victims of sex trafficking or youth identified as “high-risk”. She previously worked as an Investigator, an Investigative Supervisor and a Child Safety Specialist during her fifteen-year tenure with DFPS. She has conducted, read and approved hundreds of CPI investigations that were worked jointly with law enforcement.
