Stephen Rancourt is an Assistant United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas. For the past five years, he has worked cases involving guns, drugs, and child exploitation, and recently finished a one-year detail to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Columbia working on cases involving the January 6, 2021 Capitol Riot. Prior to his appointment as an AUSA, Stephen was an Assistant District Attorney and later the First Assistant District Attorney in Wichita County, Texas. He has over twelve years experience as a prosecutor, and has handled a full range of cases from misdemeanor state DWI to federal wiretaps, cartel drug rings, and child trafficking.
