Detective Inspector Ruth Rogers is based in the Counter Terrorism Policing Head Quarters, UK. She was born and raised in London and attended the City University graduating in Psychology and Sociology (BSc Hons) in 1999. She joined the Metropolitan Police Service in 2000 aged 22 and after her probationary period took the Detective Pathway where she has fulfilled numerous specialist roles such as Child Abuse, Domestic Abuse, Sexual Offences, Offender Management and Parliamentary Protection. In her current role she is responsible for oversight and co-ordination of the ten regions that make up the UKs Counter Terrorism Policing Network. As part of this role she leads on Project Arbour, an academic research project commissioned to research the prevalence of Child Sexual Abuse offenders in Counter Terrorism investigations.
