Free Training for Law Enforcement Professionals: The Hope team understands how budget limitations impact criminal investigations and operational potential. Because of this, the Hope Action Plan offers training to professionals at no cost. Instruction includes both Reactive and Proactive investigative measures for successful prosecution of offenders who prey on children. Trainings provide cyber investigators, especially affiliates of the ICAC Task Force Program, tools and techniques necessary to develop an effective response to technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and internet crimes against children. Through strategic partnerships, we also provide tools, trainings, and support to enhance investigative competencies including task force and specialized unit implementation. Provided Trainings Include: •Child Exploitation Investigation Foundations • CyberTip Investigations • Peer to Peer Cases for “Non-Certified” Investigators • Basic Undercover Chat Investigations • Human Trafficking: Victim-Centric Operations • Advanced Undercover Chat Investigations • Digital Forensic Investigations in Child Exploitation Cases • Child Abuse Investigation Techniques and Best Practices • Parental Internet Safety Training and Predator Tactics Officer Wellness Workshops: Hope also recognizes how psychologically devastating the exposure to child sex abuse material can be to officers. We feel a strong commitment to protect you, our protectors. For this reason, Hope offers a program to safeguard your mental, physical, and spiritual well-being.
