THE AMBER ADVOCATE
The mission of the AMBER Alert Training & Technical Assistance Program (AATTAP) is to safely recover missing, endangered, or abducted children through the coordinated efforts of law enforcement, media, transportation, and other partners by using training and technology to enhance response capacities and capabilities and increase public participation. The AMBER Advocate website and secure AMBER Alert Partner Portal work to support this mission by promoting awareness of and access to training and resources for AMBER Alert partners as they work across their states and communities to educate, train and inspire around the protection of children and effective response to endangered missing and abducted children.

KENTUCKY HOSPITALITY: More than a dozen AMBER Alert Coordinators, Missing Persons Clearinghouse Managers, Child Abduction Response Team (CART) leaders, and local agency missing persons/cold case investigators attended yesterday’s meeting for AMBER Alert Training & Technical Assistance Program (AATTAP) Region Three, representing 10 states. The event—hosted by the Lexington (Kentucky) Police Department—was facilitated by the Kentucky State Police.
