This workshop will review some of the recent medical research findings and discuss how to distinguish between accidental and inflicted injuries in children. The presenter will examine the myths and misconceptions of physical abuse and discuss investigative strategies for those injuries that are inflicted. This presentation will discuss bone fractures, burns, bruises, and inflicted head trauma.
