Mark Bradford is the Chief External Relations Officer with the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center. He joined the Mesquite Police Department in 1996. In 2000, Mark transferred to the Criminal Investigations Division and investigated child abuse cases from 2002 - 2008. In that role, he worked on a multidisciplinary team to investigate child abuse cases (physical, sexual, and exploitation). Mark was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in June 2008, where he worked in patrol, internal affairs, and the school resource officer unit. Mark retired from law enforcement in July of 2021. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
