This presentation is structured as an informal conversation to build on current MDT strategies utilized to increase prosecution rates. Highlighted through two brief case analysis, participants will focus on learning and identifying engagement strategies for victims and their families through increased advocacy programming and support. Participants will discuss follow-up approaches and tactics that aid MDT during the investigation and prosecution. Participants will learn strategies for working with MDT to build and prepare a trial team. Lastly, through a prosecutor's lens, facilitators will discuss how these tactics, if implemented, can increase collaboration and effective case coordination for children and families.
