Kelsey Moore is a social worker by training who began her work in the field with adults who have experienced human trafficking and substance dependence. She then found her love for the CAC model in New Orleans at the New Orleans Children’s Advocacy Center. She moved back home to Dallas in 2017 and since then has been working as a Family Advocate at the Dallas Children’s Advocacy Center where her main role is to conduct trauma screenings with children and/or their non-offending caregivers to inform treatment recommendations. She also provides Engagement Sessions to support children and families as they await therapeutic services.
