Dan Turner graduated from Ouachita Baptist University and was awarded his juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock, School of Law. He was elected Prosecuting Attorney for the Ninth East Judicial District in 2018 and previously served as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Clark, Garland, Perry and Pulaski County. He was a former member of the Association of Government Attorneys in Capital Litigation and the National District Attorneys Association. He is a current member of the National Association of Consumer Attorneys. He has also been recognized in the Top 100 Trial Lawyers in America by the National Trial Lawyers Association in 2014 and 2015. He was appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson to serve on the Arkansas Sex Offender Assessment Committee in 2022.
