Director of Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation

Blanca Lance is the Director of Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS). She is a member of the Texas Office of Attorney General HT Prevention Taskforce, leads the Administration for Children and Families Region VI HT Workgroup and a steering committee member on the National Child Welfare Anti-Trafficking Collaborative. To obtain better outcomes for children and families, she applies her working knowledge and over twenty-five years of child welfare experience (Arizona and Texas) to DFPS’s goal to be a leader in eradicating trafficking. Blanca holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin.
