Ashley Reynolds is a survivor of child sexual exploitation and has been a consultant with the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) since 2020. In this role, Ashley has worked on many projects and initiatives, providing a survivor’s perspective to help ensure NCMEC approaches its mission from a trauma informed, survivor-led lens. Ashley has lent her voice and firsthand experiences to help educate members of the public about sextortion and has spoken publicly through Glamour magazine, Thorn.org, the FBI, and several news outlets. In May of 2016, Ashley was honored in Washington, D.C. and received NCMEC’s “Courage Award” for her bravery in coming forward to law enforcement and her community outreach efforts.
